In this expeller, the cake thickness is manually controlled with a simple handwheel in which choke gear does not depend on the main drive and thus no risk of sudden load on expeller motor. For reducing the labor cost, the expeller feed is made automatic with integrated small crammer-shaft and tensioned belt which automatically stops in case of excessive feed and starts in case the expeller has absorbed the feed.
